Live Animals/Livestock For Sale
Throughout the year we are continually breeding our poultry
and pigs in addition to working with local breeders and hatcheries to increase our livestock populations at the farm.
In doing so, we often have larger quantities of animals, mostly poultry, that we are able to then sell to the general public.
In addition, when we have a large amount of interest in a certain animal, we order in bulk so that we can sell our animals
to the public at a discounted rate and at a better price than our customers would have to pay for if they purchased the animals
themselves.
Please constact us if you are looking for a specific breed because we may
raise that particular breed or at the very least we should be able to do the research for you and direct you to where you
can find what you are looking for.
Live animals we have or will very shortly have for sale:
Got bugs and ticks? Get Guineas!...The
Gardeners Best Friend
Why raise guinea fowl? There are many reasons. The guinea has been used
in protecting the farm flock from intruders because of its loud, harsh, cry and its pugnacious disposition. Since one
of the main sources of food for wild guineas is insects, they have gained populatiry for use in reducing insect populations
in gardens and around the home., especially because, unlike chickens, guineas do not scratch the dirt much and do very little
damage to the garden. Recently guineas have been used to reduce the deer tick population, associated with Lyme Disease. Other
people raise them for their unique ornamental value.
Guinea chicks will be hatching and
arriving in June and will be sold for $8.00/chick
or "keet"
If interested in purcahsing keets,
please check back with usa around the fisrt of June for an availability date.
