At Heritage Belle Farms, we believe education of sustainable
agriculture and our history and heritage in agriculture is essential to everyone of all ages in our community and surrounding
areas in order to promote and preserve local sources of food.

Farm
& Garden Tours
For: All Ages, All Groups Welcome
Cost: $5/person, $3/student, Chaperons are free - Heritage Belle
Farms will never turn anyone away due to financial need. Please contact Katie Rosing in such instances.
Requirements:
- An eagerness to learn is #1
- All tours are held outdoors, please
dress for the weather. Please be prepared by making sure that everyone in your party has: close-toes shoes, sunscreen,
a water bottle, and you may need warn clothes and rain jackets.
- Tours can be rescheduled if weather
is un-cooperative
***Please leave dogs and cigarettes in the car. We are sorry
to exclude dogs, but we have a lot of young visitors and we cannot risk their safety. Also, frequently a few pet chickens
will be roaming about. Dogs other than our own are not compatible with chickens (we know this by experience!). Cigarette
smoke may infect our plants with Tobacco Mosaic Virus and "second hand smoke" is not beneficial to healthy animals,
children or adults. Thank you for your consideration!***
School/Club Visits
If
you are unable to visit the farm and gardens, we can come to you, we will even bring a farmyard friend along to touch.
Several different 1-2 hour lesson plans are available depending on age group.
Cost: $75/hour,
however Heritage Belle Farms will never refuse an opportunity to enlighten others about agriculture due to financial need
and different arrangements can be made
Conferences
We have had several experiences with presenting at conferences and are willing
and wanting to do more of this. Please contact us for more information regarding this.
