Terms of Service

Heritage Belle Farms LLC

Last updated: September 3, 2026

1. Overview

Welcome to Heritage Belle Farms LLC. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.heritagebellefarms.com (the “Website”) and your purchase of products from Heritage Belle Farms LLC (“Heritage Belle Farms,””HBF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting or using the Website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and any policies referenced in them, including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or place an order.

2. Eligibility and Account Information

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state of residence, to place an order. If you create an account or provide information at checkout, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information;

  • Keep your login credentials secure;

  • Promptly update information that changes; and

  • Accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account.

We may suspend or terminate an account or decline an order if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or a violation of these Terms.

3. Products, Availability, and Natural Variation

We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph our products accurately. Because many of our products are agricultural, handmade, or sold by approximate weight, actual color, shape, package size, cut, and weight may vary. Product photographs are illustrative and may not show the exact item you receive.

All products are subject to seasonal and inventory availability. We may limit quantities, substitute an equivalent item only with your approval, or discontinue a product at any time. If we cannot fulfill a paid order, we will contact you and offer an appropriate substitution, store credit, or refund for the unavailable item.

For products priced by final weight, the listed weight and price may be estimates. The final amount will be based on the actual packaged weight or other method explained in the product listing. Any remaining balance is due when invoiced and before pickup or shipment unless we agree otherwise in writing.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. We may accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including product availability, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues, or an inability to serve the requested pickup or shipping location.

If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled item or order. Please review your cart, contact information, pickup or shipping selection, and delivery address carefully before submitting your order.

Products purchased through the Website are intended for personal or household use and may not be resold without our prior written permission.

5. Prices, Taxes, and Payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, handling fees, and other disclosed charges will be added at checkout or included in a later invoice when final weight is not yet known.

Prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice. The price that applies to an accepted order is the price shown when the order is placed, subject to correction of obvious errors and any clearly disclosed adjustment for actual weight.

You agree to provide accurate billing information and represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. Payment is due as stated at checkout or on the applicable invoice.

6. Deposits, Balances, and Cancellations

Some products, including bulk meat or future-harvest orders, may require a deposit. The product listing or checkout page will state the deposit amount, estimated final price, anticipated fulfillment window, and any product-specific cancellation terms.

By paying a deposit, you reserve a place in our production, harvest, processing, or fulfillment schedule and agree to pay the remaining balance when invoiced. Because livestock, processing appointments, inventory, and packaging may be committed in reliance on confirmed orders, a deposit may become nonrefundable after the cancellation deadline disclosed in the product listing or order confirmation.

To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at 970-310-0852. An order may be canceled only before it enters processing, packing, or shipment, unless the product-specific terms state otherwise. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method, less any clearly disclosed nonrefundable deposit or costs already incurred, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Local Pickup

Local pickup is available only at the location and during the date or time window shown at checkout, in your order confirmation, or arranged directly with us. Unless another location is provided, pickup will be at:

Ranch Foods Direct Town Center

4635 Town Center Dr.

Colorado Springs, CO 80916

Jian Freezer Storage

721 Nichols Blvd

Colorado Springs, CO 80907

Heritage Belle Farms LLC
22755 East Garrett Road
Calhan, Colorado 80808

Please wait until we notify you that your order is ready. You are responsible for arriving during the agreed pickup window and bringing suitable coolers or insulated containers for perishable products.

Perishable products must be transported promptly and refrigerated or frozen as appropriate. If you cannot pick up your order as scheduled, contact us promptly. We may reschedule pickup when reasonably possible, but we cannot guarantee product quality or availability after a missed pickup. Orders not collected within the communicated timeframe may be canceled, donated, or otherwise disposed of for food-safety reasons without a refund, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is available only for eligible products and destinations shown at checkout. Some products cannot be shipped because of food-safety, carrier, or legal restrictions. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, including any unit number, gate code, or delivery instruction.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier delays, holidays, rural delivery schedules, and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery. We may delay shipment of perishable products when necessary to reduce the risk that a package will sit in transit over a weekend or holiday.

Perishable products may be shipped frozen or chilled in insulated packaging with cold packs or dry ice. You are responsible for tracking the shipment, arranging for prompt receipt, and inspecting and properly storing the products immediately upon delivery. Do not touch dry ice with bare hands, and keep it away from children and pets.

Ownership and risk of loss pass to you when the order is delivered to the address you provided, except where applicable law provides otherwise. We are not responsible for spoilage, loss, or damage caused by an incorrect address, inaccessible delivery location, failure to retrieve the package promptly, or improper handling after delivery.

9. Perishable Products, Inspection, and Refunds

Because food products are perishable and cannot be safely restocked, all food sales are final except as stated below or as otherwise required by law. We do not accept returns of food products.

Please inspect your order promptly at pickup or delivery. If an item is missing, incorrect, damaged, unsafe, or arrives thawed or warmer than expected, do not consume or discard it until you have contacted us, unless disposal is necessary for safety. Contact Heritage Belle Farms LLC at 970-310-0852 within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. Please provide your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label, and temperature reading, if available.

We evaluate concerns individually. When we confirm that an issue resulted from a fulfillment or shipping problem, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on product availability and the circumstances. We reserve the right to decline a remedy when the issue resulted from delayed retrieval, an inaccurate delivery address, a missed pickup, improper storage or handling after receipt, or a report made outside the stated timeframe.

Because we cannot control how beef is transported, stored, thawed, handled, or cooked after it leaves our possession, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds based on improper storage, preparation, cooking results, personal preference, or dissatisfaction unrelated to a confirmed product, fulfillment, or shipping issue.

Grassfed and grass-finished beef cooks differently from grain-finished beef and often benefits from lower cooking temperatures, shorter cooking times, and careful preparation. We are happy to provide tips to help you get the best results.

If you are new to grassfed beef, we recommend purchasing a small quantity before investing in a bulk beef order. If you experience a problem or are unhappy with your beef, please contact us. We are happy to help troubleshoot preparation or cooking concerns.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable consumer-protection law.

10. Food Safety, Allergens, and Product Use

You are responsible for safely transporting, refrigerating, freezing, thawing, handling, and cooking food products. Follow all instructions on the product label and applicable food-safety guidance. Raw or undercooked meat, poultry, or eggs may increase the risk of foodborne illness.

Products may be processed, packed, or stored in facilities that also handle common allergens. Contact us before ordering if you have a severe food allergy or need information about a particular product. We cannot guarantee that any product is free from cross-contact unless expressly stated in writing.

Information on the Website about farming practices, nutrition, recipes, or health is provided for general informational purposes and is not medical, veterinary, dietary, or other professional advice.

11. Website Use and Prohibited Conduct

You may use the Website only for lawful, personal, and noncommercial purposes. You may not:

  • Violate any applicable law or the rights of another person;

  • Provide false or misleading information;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, accounts, or systems;

  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Website’s operation or security;

  • Scrape, copy, or exploit Website content for commercial purposes without permission;

  • Impersonate another person or entity; or

  • Use the Website to send spam, fraudulent communications, or unlawful material.

We may restrict or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or threatens our customers, business, or systems.

12. Intellectual Property

The Website and its content—including our name, logos, photographs, graphics, text, videos, product descriptions, and design—are owned by or licensed to Heritage Belle Farms LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to access and use the Website for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, ecommerce platforms, shipping carriers, social-media sites, or other websites. We do not control third-party sites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or performance. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms and policies.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. Information needed to process orders may be shared with service providers such as payment processors, ecommerce platforms, and shipping carriers for purposes including payment, fraud prevention, fulfillment, delivery, customer support, and legal compliance.

15. Reviews and Feedback

If you submit a review, photograph, suggestion, or other feedback, you represent that you have the right to share it and that it is accurate and lawful. You grant Heritage Belle Farms LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and display that material for operating and promoting our business, with attribution when appropriate. This license does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Do not submit confidential information through a public review. We may remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, infringing, or unrelated to our products or services.

16. Errors and Corrections

The Website may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccurate descriptions, incorrect pricing, or omissions. We may correct or update information and may cancel an affected order. If we cancel a paid order because of our error, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled item or order.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Except for any express product promise we make in writing and warranties that cannot legally be excluded, we disclaim all express and implied warranties relating to the Website and products, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement.

Some states do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heritage Belle Farms LLC and its owners, employees, agents, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of use, arising from the Website, an order, or a product.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order or product will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order or product giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other matters protected by applicable law.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heritage Belle Farms LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights. This section does not require you to indemnify us for our own negligence or wrongful conduct.

20. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, wildfire, drought, livestock illness, processing interruptions, labor or supply shortages, carrier disruption, power failure, governmental action, or natural disaster. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and offer an appropriate resolution when we cannot fulfill an order.

21. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms, the Website, or an order must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in El Paso County, Colorado, unless applicable law requires otherwise. You and Heritage Belle Farms LLC consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Before filing a legal claim, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Website and changing the “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. Your continued use of the Website after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

23. Severability; Waiver; Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with the policies and product-specific terms referenced in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Heritage Belle Farms LLC regarding the Website and online purchases. If product-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the product-specific terms control for that product.
